Shirley attended Meacham and Lomax Elementary Schools and Booker T. Washington Junior High School. Ruth A. Wiest, 79 passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019 at Richmond University Medical Center. Personal message from Ray: I have the sad duty to inform you of the sudden and unexpected death of the universally loved Ruth Wiest. Very shortly after having been admitted to the hospital, Ruth passed without experiencing any suffering. The Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 28, between the hours of 10:am to 9pm.
